All events accepted and approved under the Tourism Tamworth Event Support Program must adhere to the following requirements in order to fulfil the agreed conditions for the coming event and to receive any future consideration.

1. LOGO
1.1 Tourism Tamworth
The Tourism Tamworth logo is to appear on all marketing and promotional material produced by the Event Committee or any other party on your behalf (including Tourism Tamworth) such as brochures, flyers, posters, TV and radio ads, programs as well as any other materials that may be produced. Wherever possible, the Tourism Tamworth website; www.visittamworth.com should also be included on promotional materials below or near, the Tourism Tamworth logo.

The nominated representative on the Event Committee (the person that completed the Event Support Program Application Form) will receive a high resolution jpeg version of the Tourism Tamworth logo and any additional regional images requested once the application has been approved and granted. Tourism Tamworth acknowledges that at times the Tourism Tamworth logo will be shown in black and white (mono) rather than full colour; however the Event Committee acknowledges the colour Tourism Tamworth logo will be used wherever possible.

1.2 Satellite Towns
Similar to the Tourism Tamworth logo, all events approved for support that will be held outside Tamworth City (i.e. satellite towns outside Tamworth, such as Nundle, Manilla and Barraba) must all include each town’s individual logo on all marketing and promotional material in addition to the Tourism Tamworth logo as mentioned above; the same guidelines apply for the use of the logo. Logo’s are as follows:

2. MEDIA
2.1 Media Releases
Tourism Tamworth agrees to develop and distribute a minimum of one media release highlighting the event and the support given by Tourism Tamworth. All releases will state the event is “proudly supported by Tourism Tamworth” (and when requested any other major sponsors) and will include a quote from the appropriate representative at Tourism Tamworth. Where possible (and relevant), Tourism Tamworth may choose to include a quote from the nominated representative on the event organising committee however this is not guaranteed and is space-permitting.

Tourism Tamworth will distribute all media releases to its extensive media database covering all mediums (print, radio and television) in the New England North West region as well as circulating it to appropriate targeted media (eg. Food magazines if the event is a specific food expo etc).

Should the event organising committee communicate that they do not require any assistance in the development of media releases, Tourism Tamworth is still able to assist event organisers with the distribution of media materials through its extensive media database. Please note. This database is a licensed product held by Tourism Tamworth and as such releases will be distributed by Tourism Tamworth; not through the provision of the database to event organisers.

2.2 Media Interviews
Tourism Tamworth understands event organisers may take part in media interviews about the event that Tourism Tamworth is not aware of. Event organisers are encouraged to reinforce the message that the event is proudly supported by Tourism Tamworth. Please note. Tourism Tamworth acknowledges that although every effort will be made by event organisers to convey this message the journalist will have the final say as to what information will be included from the interview.
