- Rebel Thomson, General Manager
Rebel Thomson came home to the region in 1999 after working with the Royal Agricultural Society of NSW for the Sydney Royal Easter Show as the Manager of Commercial Operations. In 1999 Rebel commenced work with the Tamworth P& A Association for a period of three years as the Executive Officer before joining the New England North West Area Consultative Committee in 2001. In August this year Rebel became the General Manager of Tourism Tamworth.
Throughout her career Rebel has attempted to balance the management of organizations with major structural and physical changes. At the Sydney Royal Easter Show Rebel was responsible for the planning and management of exhibition space at Paddington and the relocation to Homebush Bay. With the Tamworth P&A Association and the coordination of events and activities needed to be balanced with limited resources and the possibility of site relocations and collaborations with other equine and livestock associations. In her role as the Executive Officer of the New England North West ACC Rebel oversaw the introduction of the Regional Partnerships Program, delivering integrated service delivery and an organizational restructure.
Her current challenges with Tourism Tamworth are the marketing of the Telstra Country Music Festival on behalf of the community and the Tamworth Regional Council as well developing Tamworth into a conference and events venue.

- Kim Donaldson, Media and Promotions Coordinator
Kim joined Tourism Tamworth in early November 2005, to boost the resources of the Marketing Department. Originally from Tamworth, Kim had been in Sydney for the previous four years working for McGregors International – a marketing communications agency based in Willoughby. Her role incorporated a variety of public relations activities, including the organisation and implementation of media campaigns, event management, assisting with strategic development and day to day account support.
Returning to Tourism Tamworth as the Media & Promotions Coordinator, Kim is responsible for the media campaign and other marketing activities for the Country Music Festival as well as marketing and promotional activities for the Tamworth Region in general. In addition, Kim will also undertake management of the website as well as assisting with advertising, event support, production of collateral and stakeholder management.
Kim holds an Advanced Diploma in Marketing (Sports and Entertainment Management) from APM Training Institute.

Operations
- Veronica Martin, Visitor Services Coordinator
Veronica (Ronnie) is the Assistant Operations Manager for Tourism Tamworth and responsible for front office and Visitor Information Service operations, the coordination and training of volunteers, management of souvenir stocks and provision of information for the visitor information centres in Tamworth, Barraba, Manilla and Nundle. Ronnie’s interests include reading, dancing, traveling, shopping and netball.

- Wendy Swain, Tourism Officer (Casual)
Wendy Swain is a casual within the Operations team and assists with the coordination of visitor Information Services across a number of areas. Wendy is currently studying at the University of New England to obtain a Bachelor of Arts/ Bachelor of Commerce degree at the University of New England. Wendy enjoys her studies, particularly history and her interests include farm life and travel.
