Ticket Sales Terms and Conditions
Tickets are sold by Tamworth Regional Council on behalf of the organisation responsible for presenting the event (“seller”). All claims are the sole responsibility of the seller and to the extent permitted by law, Tamworth Regional Council has no liability to you.
The following are conditions of sale (including any resale or subsequent assignment) and attendance at the event:
1. Please check the date and time on your ticket at the time of purchase.
2. There are no refunds, exchanges or cancellations on ticket purchases except as required by law.
3. Tickets are sold on behalf of the organisation responsible for presenting the Event and subject to the conditions applicable to that Event and/or the Venue where the Event is presented.
4. The right is reserved to charge a fee for the replacement of tickets for events with allocated seating.
5. Where event seating is not allocated (general admission), tickets must be treated like cash as they cannot be replaced if lost, stolen, or damaged under any circumstances. There are no exceptions to this rule.
6. The right of admission is reserved and is subject to the seller's and the venue's terms of admission.
7. Entry may be refused if tickets are damaged or defaced in any way or are not purchased from Tamworth Regional Council or other authorised points of sale.
8. Late arrival may result in non-admittance until a suitable break in the performance, if at all and admission is at the discretion of the box office personnel on duty at the Event.
9. Where concessions are applicable, suitable and valid identification must be provided to Box Office personnel. Failure to produce valid identification may result in the patron being charged full price for the ticket.
10. Cameras, audio and video recorders may not be brought into the venue except where expressly authorised. The right is reserved to broadcast or telecast any event.
11. Mobile communication devices must be switched off during the Event.
12. You must retain your ticket at all times whilst at the Venue.
13. The right is reserved to add, withdraw, reschedule or substitute artists and / or vary advertised programs, prices, venues, seating arrangements and audience capacity.
14. Tickets must not be resold or offered for resale at a premium (including via online auction sites) either by the original purchaser or any subsequent bearer. If a ticket is sold in breach of this condition, the ticket may be cancelled without a refund and the bearer of the ticket may be refused admission.
15. Tamworth Regional Council applies The Code of Practice for the Ticketing of Live Entertainment Events in Australia administered by Live Performance Australia. The Code of Practice may be viewed at www.liveperformance.com.au
